Cole Hediger is a nonbinary Philadelphia based writer and filmmaker with festival acclaimed work in both screenwriting and production. They won their first award for writing when they were just 10 years old. As they pursued their passion, Cole originally studied in creative writing. This education led to several published fiction and nonfiction pieces and eventually introduced them to their love of screenwriting. Cole now studies Film and Media Arts at Temple University with a seat in the highly competitive screenwriting concentration.

They recently produced the Sparkk TV series Hurt that has won five awards, been part of five festival's official selections, and been named as "Best Web Series" by Halo International Film Festival and Pinnacle Film Awards. They also produced the TUTV original series Queer Temple, which has been nominated for several broadcasting awards.
Their script "Juda, The Stranger" won the title of semifinalist in the Screenwriter's Network's Short Script Competition in 2022. And their script "Faith" ended as a second rounder in the Austin Film Festival.

"Hurt"

Hurt is a project that brings mental health, autism, and queer relationships to the forefront of its storytelling. As executive producer and co-showrunner, I have created and managed three crowdfunding campaigns; assisted in designing season pitches and episode outlines; and lead a team of editors in the post-production stage of season 1 and season 2. As of 2023, Hurt is now a television show available on the streaming service Sparkk TV.
"Queer Temple"

Queer Temple is an interview-based television show that is broadcasted in the Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia Region. As head writer and producer, I have developed six script episodes (including research, questions, etc.); handle script design and communications with the host and interviewees; overseen a team of writers; and created shooting schedules.

"Temple Tonight"

Temple Tonight is Temple University's late night talk show that interviews local Philadelphia artists and performs comedy sketches. As part of the writing team for this show, I wrote three comedy sketches a week; edited scripts weekly; and designed comprehensive episode layouts.
